The Tamiya Bruiser is a 1/10 scale radio-controlled model that replicates the 1980s Toyota Hilux 4WD pick-up truck (RN36). Originally released in 1985, it gained acclaim for its realistic design and mechanical complexity. In 2012, Tamiya re-released the Bruiser, maintaining its classic features while incorporating modern enhancements.
The model boasts a ladder frame chassis, mirroring the structure of the actual vehicle. Its live axle suspension includes metal axle housings, leaf springs, and oil dampers, providing both durability and realistic off-road performance. It features a highly detailed injection-molded body, complete with an aluminum ladder frame, metal front under guard, and large 123mm diameter tires, capturing the rugged and stylish appearance of the original Toyota Hilux.
